POSITION : HEAD BAKER.
DEPARTMENT : OPERATIONS
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring accurate ingredients in recipes.
Prepares bakes and does specialized decoration in all bakery items for menu following the standardized recipes.
Assists in developing and testing recipes.
Assists in planning bakery products menu.
Supervises bakery personnel; duties include planning, organizing, scheduling and directing work, training personnel, and recommending applicants for employment or for discipline, termination or retention.
Teaches and enforces safety regulations.
Trains and orients staff in the organization on large scale baking and sanitation standards.
Estimate baking needs, requisition of adequate supplies and keeps records of products made and used.
Ensures bakery and equipment are maintained according to proper health and sanitation standards.
